    The chief scientist at AstraZeneca, Josep Baselga who was developing anti COVID-19 therapies based on his experience in cancer has died of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease – a rare rapidly evolving degenerative neurological disorder. He was roped in by AstraZeneca after a major scandal broke out since he failed to disclose his vast financial ties to various companies in journal articles."

    Variant Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease (vCJD) is a type of brain disease within the transmissible spongiform encephalopathy family. Initial symptoms include psychiatric problems, behavioral changes, and painful sensations. In the later stages of the illness, patients may exhibit poor coordination, dementia and involuntary movements. The length of time between exposure and the development of symptoms is unclear, but is believed to be years. Average life expectancy following the onset of symptoms is 13 months.

    It is caused by prions, which are misfolded proteins.[7] Spread is believed to be primarily due to eating bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE)-infected beef.[6][7] Infection is also believed to require a specific genetic susceptibility.[4][6] Spread may potentially also occur via blood products or contaminated surgical equipment.[8] Diagnosis is by brain biopsy but can be suspected based on certain other criteria.[3] It is different from classic Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease, though both are due to prions.[7]

    "Dozens of young people with no preexisting conditions are developing symptoms of a new disease as activists and families suspect a cover-up on the part of the local government.
    A whistleblower with Vitalité Health Network in New Brunswick told The Guardian on Sunday that symptoms include hallucinations, difficulty thinking, limited mobility, insomnia, and rapid weight loss. Local government has reportedly struggled to dismiss the growing number of cases as Alzheimer’s or other neurological diseases uncommon outside the elderly.

    While the official number of cases recorded since the mystery illness was first publicly acknowledged in early spring has not budged upward from 48, multiple sources told The Guardian that as many as 150 people may have contracted the fast-moving illness. Still more young people require assessment, and several have died."

    So far, nobody is asking what percentage of these young Canadians have been fully vaccinated prior to coming down with these "mysterious" neurological symptoms!
